Every police station in Spain that takes fingerprints for an FBI background check is listed below, as published by the U.S. Embassy — with the hours each one keeps and the sentence that decides whether the trip works.

Say this at the desk
Fingerprints for FBI criminal records are taken by the Policía Científica. At the police station, make clear the fingerprints are NOT for extranjería (immigration) purposes — otherwise you may be given the wrong service.

After you get printed, post us the card.
You get inked prints at your own station; we handle the FBI submission and, if you want it, the federal apostille and the sworn Spanish translation — then send the finished set back to you electronically. The card is the only thing that travels by post.

Write to us before you go
Tell us your city and what the document is for. We'll confirm the station is the right one, tell you exactly what to ask for, and send you the posting address.

Take a valid passport. Confirm the opening hours by phone first — several of these counters open for one or two hours a week and change without notice.

Say it is not for extranjería
This is the single sentence that decides whether the trip works. Fingerprints for FBI criminal records are taken by the Policía Científica; ask for anything vaguer and you may be given the immigration service instead.

Post the card to us
We submit it to the FBI, and — where you've asked for it — carry the report through the federal apostille and the sworn Spanish translation. The finished set comes back to you electronically — the card is the only thing that travels by post.
The mailed-card route is quoted individually. It skips the appointment but adds postal handling, and a card posted to the FBI goes through their postal channel — weeks, not the 24–48 hours an electronic submission takes. Write to us with your city and we'll send you a price and the posting address.

In 5 cities you don't have to use a police station at all
You can also come to us. We keep fixed locations in Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Alicante and Marbella for people who would rather not deal with a police station: digital capture, quality-checked while you are there, and submitted to the FBI electronically rather than posted as a card. Appointments are booked in advance and the address is confirmed with the booking.
A technician comes to you, or you come to us
Both routes are open here. The mobile technician fee — normally €125 and up — is waived while the promotion runs, so a technician at your home, hotel or office costs the same as coming to us.
Fixed location, by appointment
Mobile service is not available here, but the fixed location does the same job. You leave having been captured digitally and submitted electronically, rather than holding a card to post.
Fingerprinting services are charged normally. The promotion applies to the mobile technician / travel fee within covered areas only. There is no coupon code and no separate mobile charge on eligible appointments.

Listed because they exist, not because you need them. Note what the Embassy's own list says about Madrid: all three units are outside the city, and each takes prints for one hour a week. In these three cities you have two better options — a technician at your address at no extra charge, or our own location in the city — and either way the prints go to the FBI electronically instead of by post.
